Responsible for managing a small GUI Engineering Team, tracking product task schedules, assigning project responsibilities and responding to customer escalations.

Senior Software Engineer
Responsible for various areas of the Broadbase EPM/Foundation Administrator and Application Designer GUI. Supporting legacy MFC application code and writing new dialog and database access classes. Using MS Visual C++ 6.0, Java and XML.

Software Engineer
Responsible for various areas of the Approach GUI, implemented TAPI support. Point of contact for Lotus shared component integration. Traced and corrected problems in legacy C, C++ and MFC code. Assisted in migrating to Visual C++ 5.0.

Software Engineer - Configuration Management
Worked on award winning shrinkwrap database project. Product shipped as part of Smartsuite 97 and as a standalone product. Responsible for coding the installer using the Lotus Common Install Toolkit and Lotus Script for the several Windows NT/95 and OS/2 Warp products. Implemented multiple-language installation support and automatic run from CD-ROM capabilities. Included a Visual Basic application to launch with the Windows 95 CD auto play feature. Developed scripts to run unattended product builds using NMAKE and command-line compilers. Ported this build process to OS/2. Responsible for delivering frequent installable builds to the Quality Engineering group. Maintained version control system using Intersolv PVCS.

Software Quality Engineer
Helped customers solve problems with the Approach Database for Windows via telephone, fax, CompuServe and the Approach BBS. Worked as Sysop of the Approach BBS. and the Approach section on CompuServe. Identified and tracked problems in the software (SQA).

Product Support Engineer

Developed procedures for scanning documents and images into computers for use in desktop publishing. Developed text database from scanned documents using optical character recognition software.
